Nomadic Backpacker records 10,000 page view in the last 30 days
January 16, 2023
According to Google Analytics, I hit the 10,000 'page views in the last 30 days' mark (December 17, 2022 to January 15, 2023).
Reaching 10,000 page views is a huge milestone. More important than reaching and surpassing 100 users a day.
More important than 5,000 Twitter followers or 300 YouTube subscribers. The algorithms on social media channels can make or break you. They are as fickle as fuck. Twitter used to be good. Now not so, at least for me.
I rely on organic traffic. I have plenty of stuff and then some, that is Google-able. 85% of my traffic is organic.
Google has plenty of algorithm updates and until now, these have only been good to me.
Why? Because I am not buying links, or adopting any other 'black-hat' techniques.
My page views have increased because I have worked hard on all aspects of my blog. SEO, internal links using contextual linking, website structure so Google can understand my site better and of course, increasing the amount of good quality content.
