The Title Element on Weebly is set by default to h2. Here I'll tell you how you can add a h1 tag to your Weebly website for use on Weebly's standard pages.
Cast you mind back to the days when everyone read newspapers. It's easier to visualise a newspaper than trying to visualise an electronic news feed. Think about the page's layout.
You get your story. You have the story headline, a sub headline and then you have the article. Plain and simple. The headline or story title, carries the most weight, the most clout.
In this digital world of SEO and such things, h1 tags carry the most weight so you need to have the title of your story in h1. Weebly's Title Elements are by default (only) h2.
With this simple app designed by weeblytricks, now known as editortricks you can add h1 tags. This app works the same as any other drag and drop element on Weebly.
Edit the h1 tag as shown below. It really is very easy.
You can now have your page titles in h1 rather than the default h2.
There are a couple of draw backs. You can't adjust letter spacing or line height and, sadly, you can not link the text. But you can't have everything.
You can find the h1 tag on Weebly's app page.
