Review of the Amazing Ionika Hostel in Chişinău, Moldova based on my stay in June 2019
I was going backpacking in Transnistria. So I first headed to Chişinău, Moldova. I booked a couple of nights at the Amazing Ionika Hostel.
Rubens manning the front desk.
The hostel is in a quiet location, in a little secluded courtyard about a 10 minute walk from the main Stefan cel mare si Sfant Boulevard, with the Arc de Triomphe. They serve breakfast from 07:30 til 11:00 and they have free tea and coffee all day. And of course you can use the kitchen for preparing your meals. There is a washing machine available too.
The bunk beds are very sturdy. And the mattresses are extremely comfortable. Each bed has a light and an electric socket.
Everything is very clean!
Selection of cereals and bread for the included breakfast. The rye bread is so good!
Selection of jams and chocolate spread.
Sturdy bunk beds in the 10 bed dorm
Wall murals in the living room
Big thank you to Rubens, Oxana and Pena for the wonderful welcome. I enjoyed my stay there and I went back for another night after my trip to Tiraspol.
