How To Get To Terminal 2 at Mexico City Airport

This post details How to Get to Terminal 2 at Mexico City Airport.
Mexico City Airport has 2 Terminals. Terminals 1 and 2, and no, you can't walk between them.
A newer airport is located 35km northeast of Mexico City: Felipe Ángeles International Airport (NLU), also known as Mexico City Felipe Ángeles International Airport or simply Mexico City-AIFA.
Make sure you know which airport you are flying from!

You have a couple of options to get to Terminal 2 at Mexico City Airport, but a word of warning, you can't just simply walk from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2, like you can at Heathrow, Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Mexico City Airport is like Heathrow, 1, 2 and 3 and Terminal 5.
You can travel directly to Terminal 2 which I will detail in this post or take the Metro to Terminal 1 and then take a Tetsa Shuttle Bus between the 2 terminals.
For me, the best way to get to Terminal 2 is to take MetroBus #4 from San Lazaro Metro, next to Tapo bus station, to the airport. It actually serves both terminals, stopping at Terminal 1 and then Terminal 2 before going back to San Lazaro.
Since the Metro serves Terminal 1, I don't see the point in using the MetroBus to get to Terminal 1.
A ride on the CDMX MetroBús to Terminals 1 and 2 from San Lazaro costs 30 Pesos.
You swipe your MetroCard at the turnstile like normal, 6 Pesos and swipe your card again when entering the bus for the extra 24 Pesos. The journey time is 30 minutes.

You must have an Integrated Mobility Card #MiCard. You can read about where to buy the Mexico City Metro Card on another post.
Or pay with Contactless:
Riding the Metro to Pantitlan, and then walking to Terminal 2 is not recommended.
Riding the Metro in Mexico City with lots of luggage is not recommended at any time. And in general, try to avoid the rush hour. If you have lots of luggage, best use an UBER. Avoid the pink and white taxis.
