Travels in Northern Cyprus

Most associate Cyprus with ​Ayia Napa, with its beaches, clubs, bars and drunk Brits and Germans, including me. That was before I came to Cyprus, in particular, Northern Cyprus, or the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. I preferred the northern half of Nicosia, the part of town that is controlled by the Turks, over the southern half. Famagusta has way more to offer than any place I went to in the southern half of the island, the Republic of Cyprus. Limasol was pretty boring, to be honest. Larnaca, nothing much either, though both made great bases to explore the two Sovereign Base Areas, Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
