Safe and Affordable Rides in Lusaka with Yango

As part of my 3-point strategy for making my life a little less uncomfortable (OK, I just made that up, but it sounds good eh!) I took a Yango Taxi. Lusaka - Zambia's version of Uber.
I used Uber a few times in Mexico City but only with Miss CDMX.
It was my first time on travels to use a taxi app.
My friend Paul had told me about it and the staff at the hotel told me it was Lusaka's Go-To ride service.
Yes, they can be cheap but local buses are cheaper and walking is free. Which is part of the reason why I never bothered before.

I rode a YANGO Taxi from the Africana Hotel to Natwange Backpackers a distance of 11km.
The fare was just 66Kw. About 3 USD. If I took the bus, I would have needed to change in town, each ride 15 Kw +/- (unless the guys the other day had fleeced me). 30Kw and a lot of hassle vs. 60Kw and no hassle.
Lusaka's other ride service, Ulendo is more expensive.
And it was great. The ride turned up within 5 minutes.

The Yango App gives you the option to pay with cash.
