This is crazy: 1.2k views on 1 YouTube video
I am not a big fan of doing YouTube videos. I do them when I feel inspired. That's the reason why there are so few on my channel.
To run ads you need 1000 subscribers. Doing videos when I have just 70 subscribers is a fruitless occupation. Yes, we all have to begin somewhere but you can do the maths: with 1 new subscriber a month, it will take a lifetime to reach 1000.
When I do do them, it's always for a bit of fun and they are always raw and unedited and nearly always unplanned.
I check Google Analytics many times a day but with YouTube, I have a disinterested look at my numbers, once a week if that.
I like to see who has subscribed and of the 70 subscribers, I can only see the names of about 20. It is no longer interesting to me.
Today, March 5, I just felt in the mood to look at my numbers. The stats shown on the top screenshot (or left on desktop view) is the regular state of affairs for the views on each video.
But check out the views on the vid entitled "Feeding frenzy on Playa Zipolite Mexico" on the bottom screenshot (or right on desktop). Crazy, bordering on insane:
