How to get to and from Chişinău International Airport using trolleybus #30
This is my last post, which in theory should have been my first post, from my latest trip to Moldova and Transnistria. Chişinău International Airport (KIV) is 13km southeast of the capital Chişinău. Trolleybus #30 runs from the airport to central Chişinău. I took this option from the airport to central Chişinău. A photo of the timetable is below. This is from June 2019. Fare is just 2 MLD. Pay the conductor. From the airport to the Arc de Triomphe took 40minutes.

Above is a screen shot of the EasyWay website detailing the route of Trolleybus #30. The screen shot is linked to the website. You can see the fare. It's super cheap. As of May 26, 1USD was 18MDL.

You can get the EasyWay app from Google Play.
On arrival I changed 20€ which was just enough for the trolleybus fare, my 2 nights accommodation at the Amazing Ionika Hostel and a beer. The next morning I cashed a bit more money from a downtown money changer at a more favourable rate to cover my time in Moldova.

You can also get to and from the airport using marshrutka #165. The fare is 3MDL, it runs more frequently and is of course slightly faster. Here is a screen shot of the route it takes.
My plan was to take marshrutka #165 back to the airport but I miss timed my checkout and did not have time to get to the other end of the main boulevard so just rode Trolleybus #30 again.
