Transnistria, officially known as the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR) and locally as Pridnestrovie, is a landlocked breakaway state internationally recognised as part of Moldova.
I am using the name Transnistria for SEO purposes as that’s what everyone in the English-speaking world calls it.
I backpacked Transnistria in 2018. I loved my time there. It was just that I had to fit the trip in around my busy work schedule.
