Know before you go! The ideal thing would be to use a bank that will reimburse any ATM fees incurred, but sadly, there ain’t many that do this.

Another great option for avoiding ATM fees when travelling abroad is to use your card to pay for everything, but there are still many countries where cash is still king.

And if you have run out of hard currency, Dollars, Pounds or Euros, you will have to find an ATM that doesn’t charge hefty withdrawal fees.
