I travel by dolmus (Turkish Minibus) from Nicosia to Famagusta.

I crossed the divided city of Nicosia at the Ledra Street Border Crossing, from the Republic of Cyprus to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Nicosia is the English name. In Greek, it’s Lefkosia. In Turkish, it’s Lefkoşa.
Buses (Dolmuşes) from the Turkish side of Nicosia to Famagusta (aka Gazimagusa) leave from just outside the Girne (Kyrenia) Gate in Lefkoşa:

They go whenever, so just be patient. The tourist office, which you will find inside, said every 30 minutes.
The ticket price from Lefkoşa to Maĝusa is 200 TL:

I left at just before 10 am.
You arrive at the Itimat terminal in Famagusta.

The trip took 1 hr 25.
I was staying inside the old Walled City of Famagusta. The entrance to which is just across from the bus station at the Rivettina Bastion:

Once you are through the gate, there is a great tourist information centre. I picked up the free Famagusta Walled City Map:

Then it was just a short walk to the Betul Guest House. I used it as a base to explore the Ancient City of Salamis and the Famagusta Ghost Town of Varosha.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for this post. It was incredibly practical and helpful, by far the most useful guide I’ve found on the topic. Keep up the great work!
Glad it helped you. I aim to bring ALL the info you need, without trying to sell you anything. The ONLY way to succeed!!
