I decided to offer my first attempt at a PDF/eBook as a free download.

Three reasons why you need to download my PDF/eBook:

  • I have been travelling since 1992
  • I only write about places I have visited
  • I am not turning every tip into an affiliate pitch

The PDF brings you some of the best raw budget travel hacks. These travel tips are aimed at budget travellers and backpackers, including how to save money for your next trip, how to manage your money whilst travelling and some travel strategies that I use to travel the world.

I have been travelling since 1992

I set off for Australia back in 1992 on a round-the-world ticket. That was more than a lifetime ago. Boy, things have changed since then. 30+ years as a budget traveller, a backpacker. You sure learn some stuff in that amount of time.

Would you trust travel advice offered by someone with limited experience?

There is an influx of travel hacks on insurance websites, banking websites.

Even people with limited travel experience are now cashing in on this lucrative niche.

CNN and the BBC have travel sections. They hire local writers to write about the best restaurants where they live. How is that even travel?

My raw travel hacks are trustworthy. I have credibility. That comes through more than 30 years of experience as a low-budget traveller.

I have used the travel hacks detailed in this PDF to get to the places I have written about on my travel blog: Nomadic Backpacker.

I only write about places I have visited

Would you trust a blog post about a place if it were written by someone who had never actually been there?

I am a traveller sharing firsthand information drawn from my own observations, based on a personal visit to the place I am writing about.

That builds a level of trust, and that, in turn, makes the travel hacks trustworthy.

I am not turning every tip into an affiliate pitch

The best travel hacks come from those who aren’t trying to convince you that you couldn’t possibly survive without an eSIM or travel insurance purchased through their affiliate link.

No hard sell here. Just pure travel advice. Just some of the top travel hacks for backpackers.

Who would you rather trust? #NomadicBackpacker.

While the download is indeed free, you can support the blog using PayPal.

  1. Downloaded and started reading this.

Yes; you *are* that interesting character (re; special forces guys on YouTube versus in a bar with 1000 yard stare). This is why your blog is appealing, helpful and entertaining, too.

We can use tech to relay a message by amplifying our reach. But the experience, well, we need to gain that offline whether traveling or even working different niches.

Most human beings fear making eye contact, struggle to begin offline conversations and almost feel walled off entirely from the rest of the universe. Seeing your example in action can influence a few more travelers – and non-travelers too – to get out there and connect 1 to 1 without letting technology interfere.
