The second in the series about cafés/coffee shops across Mexico City that are good for digital nomads, writers and travel bloggers.
The first post was from Roma Norte; this time, I feature six coffee shops in the Juárez neighbourhood in Mexico City, with two of them specifically set up for remote workers.
I had observed, while visiting the cafés here, that the majority of the clients were locals, not gringos.
Please consider buying me a coffee through Ko-Fi, to keep the blog posts coming.
1. Coffeefy Workafe – Juárez
Coffeefy Workafe – Juárez is a community workspace and cafe located in the heart of the city, completely set up for the remote worker.

Tagged as: 1st Café-Coworking @ México! They offer the Digital Nomad, Travel Blogger and Remote Workers a Coffee + Workspace and there is no need to worry about overstaying your welcome.
There is a “Skype Room”, which you can use for 60 pesos an hour, perfect for making those business conference calls without disturbing others.
They also have a TV Room with a 43” screen, ideal for quick meetings or interviews and a Meeting Room with a 65″ screen and whiteboard, ideal for presentations or workshops.
Location: Liverpool 69, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
2. Chez Vous #Timecafé
Chez Vous #TimeCafé is a cafe designed for remote workers, where you can come in and pay by the hour. They have two tariffs:
- Tarifa Básica: 70 pesos per hour or 280 pesos per day, with unlimited drinks included
- Tarifa Premium: 90 pesos per hour or 360 pesos per day or 4,320 pesos per month, with unlimited selected drinks and snacks included. You can also get up to 10 B&W printouts. Full details on the website, see below.
I visited the one on Calle Marsella in Juárez, which is open from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. They advertise that the Wi-Fi is superfast. Indeed, it is. I base that on the time it takes to send photos on Gmail.
It’s a great deal for coffee junkies and for those who need a makeshift office without having to worry about overstaying your welcome.

They have six branches across CDMX. They also have meeting rooms, private cabins, or you can enjoy the shared area.
Location: Calle Marsella 81, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
3. Ojo de Agua
Staying healthy as a travel blogger. Enjoying a PURIFY juice at Ojo de Agua while answering emails is all part of the travel blogger life:

Location: C. Milan 44, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
4. Gabi’s Café
Gabi’s Café on the corner of Liverpool and Nápoles in Juárez, Mexico City, is more of a regular cafe with plenty of space. The prices are lower than the fancier places, but hey, if they have Wi-Fi, then every cafe has the potential to be a makeshift office. Probably best to avoid the lunchtime rush, if there is one.

Location: Nápoles 55, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
5. Café Nin
Probably the most famous café in Juárez, certainly the most inspiring, atmospheric building hosting a café. It’s a very popular place, so it’s best not to hog a table for too long, though it is a great spot for editing photos on my phone while enjoying a drink

The Masala Chai was good. Not over-sweetened like many others, and the croissant was super fresh!!
Location: Havre 73, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
6. Café Chulo
Café Chulo has a rather cool interior. Located next door to Ojo de Agua, featured above. Lots of space. Comfortable to sit for an hour or two and bash out some blog posts:

They do food too. Grab an earlier breakfast before cracking on with work.
Location: C. Milan 44, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX
