Unicaja – Spain, has free ATM withdrawals!

Free ATMs are just one of the ways a budget traveller can save some money. Just look at the fees at two of the biggest banks in Spain:
- BBVA : €7
- DeutscheBank: €4
€7, I laugh at that. It almost matches their 10 USD withdrawal fee in Mexico. €7 was my daily budget in Cambodia many years ago. Avoid these at all costs!!!
Do you still need cash in Spain?
Why worry about looking for Free ATMs when you can pay with a card everywhere?
There has been 1 instance where I couldn’t use cash, on the Fly Toledo Urban Zip-Line. And one instant when I needed €20, for the key deposit at the hostel in Barcelona.
And of course, if you are still a fan of using only cash, this post is for you.
This is not a comprehensive post. I have not been running around Spain trying every ATM because I was visiting cities like Ronda, Segovia, Avila, Seville, and Cadiz.
