Taking the bus to the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA).

Update: The Tren Felipe Ángeles from Buenavista to AIFA is now up and running and offers a quicker, safer and more convenient way to reach the AIFA Airport.
I took the ETN Turistar bus from the Terminal Central de Autobuses del Norte in Mexico City to Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA).
Felipe Ángeles International Airport is the 2nd airport serving Mexico City and is commonly referred to as just AIFA: Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles.
It opened in 2022 on the former military airfield, Santa Lucía Air Force Base and is 35 km north of Mexico City. So, if you are flying in or out of Mexico City, always check which airport.
The Felipe Ángeles International Airport has the code: NLU.
This is how I travelled from Mexico City to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport for my Arajet Airlines flight to the Dominican Republic:

ETN Turistar run buses out of the North Bus Station (the same bus station for Teotihuacán) to the Felipe Ángeles airport.
They run mostly hourly from 5.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Depending on the traffic, the journey is scheduled to take an hour. My bus took 1 hr 20 minutes.
You can buy your ticket online, but I went old-school and bought my ticket, five days in advance, at the bus terminal, 90 pesos. I paid cash, but you can pay by card.
