Taking the ETN Turistar bus to Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) from the Terminal Central de Autobuses del Norte in Mexico City
Felipe Ángeles International Airport is the new airport serving Mexico City, also referred to as Mexico City Felipe Ángeles International Airport, Mexico City-AIFA or Aeropuerto Santa Lucia.
It opened in 2022 on the former military airfield, Santa Lucía Air Force Base and is 35 km north of Mexico City. So, if you are flying in or out of Mexico City, always check which airport. The Felipe Ángeles International Airport has the code: NLU.

I appreciate there may be more than 1 way to get there, but this is how I did it.
It would be great when the Tren Suburbano line from Buena Vista is finally opened. The project is hopelessly delayed.

Last update: Passenger rail line to AIFA airport to open in July. Let's see eh!
ETN Turistar run buses out of the North Bus Station (the same one for Teotihuacan) to the Felipe Ángeles airport.
They run mostly hourly from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Depending on the traffic, the journey is scheduled to take an hour. My bus took 1 hr 20 minutes.
I went old-school and bought my ticket, 5 days in advance, at the bus terminal, 90 pesos. I paid cash, but you can pay with card.
