Flight: Iberia IB 1211 From: Madrid (MAD) To: Nice (NCE)
I flew with Iberia (operated by AIR NOSTRUM) from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (Spain) to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (France).
This is my review of my economy flight from Madrid to Nice on Iberia.

I had backpacked Madrid the year before, also making day trips to Toledo, Avila and Segovia. This time, I was in Madrid purely to transit.
I arrived on the World2Fly flight from Punta Cana.
I stayed 1 night at the Hostel Fly, a 15-minute walk from Madrid Airport.
Of course, I didn’t sleep much due to jet lag, but I felt rested, so if you are just in Madrid to catch a flight, I highly recommend Hostel Fly. Am sure you can find it on Booking.
My alarm roused me at 6 am. At 6.15, I was out the door. A short walk to Terminal 1-2-3 and the free shuttle to Terminal 4.
My flight from Madrid to Nice, which I booked on Iberia directly, afforded me 10 kilos of carry-on and a small personal item:

How much did the flight cost?

One advantage of being back in Europe is the water fountains at the airport:

Arrival in Nice – Côte d’Azur

I was in Nice just for 1 night. I had a quick look around in the afternoon and evening, before taking a train to Monaco.

Seeing those fountains is welcome after being in a dry cabin for a bit. Fresh, clean, usually chilled water hits the spot. Energizes you after being in the air up there.
Saves a fortine too not having to buy water airport side when tap water aint fit to drink. They have fountains in Bogotá but not Mexico City. Strangely.
