This is just a bit of fun: Borders I have crossed using boat or ferry.

It transpires that I have crossed 16 different borders using either boat or ferry and is limited to UN-Listed countries

  3. UK to France - Newhaven to Dieppe
  4. UK to Netherlands - Ramsgate to Hook van Holland
  5. UK to Netherlands - Ramsgate to Vlissigen
  6. Republic of Ireland to UK - Dublin to Wales
  7. Latvia to Germany - Liepaja to Travelmunde
  8. Spain to Morocco - Algeciras - Tangier
  9. France to Tunisia - Marseille to Tunis
  10. Malawi to Mozambique - Likoma Island to Cobue
  11. El Salvador to Nicaragua - La Union to Potosi
  12. Greece to Turkey - Samos to Kusadasi
  13. Egypt to Sudan - Aswan to Wadi Halfa
  14. Russia to South Korea - Vladivostok to Donghae
  15. Thailand to Malaysia - Satun to Perlis
  16. Finland to Estonia - Helsinki to Tallinn
My first was the Dover to Boulogne ferry with school, probably in 1981. My most memorable was Aswan to Wadi Halfa in 2015.

I started writing about my border crossings but I will never be able to finish them but will compile a list of them too.
