Milton Keynes to Heathrow By Bus for just £6

In this post, I show you how to travel from Milton Keynes to London Heathrow for just £6.
Making continued use of the bus fare cap scheme (I first used it to travel on the X5 StageCoach bus to Oxford) where you can travel on selected routes in England for just £2, I travel from Milton Keynes to Heathrow
"The £2 bus fare extended until 31 October 2024 to help passengers with the cost of living and then £2.50 until November 2024"
The £6 journey is done in 3 stages:
The same journey with the train would be a minimum of £16 to Euston if you are lucky then a minimum of £5.60 on the Tube depending on the day and time.
This is a big saving.
Of course, it's gonna take a while to use the 3 buses and Arriva doesn't run from MK to Aylesbury on a Sunday so take that into consideration.
And depending on your terminal, you might have to take a free Heathrow transfer from the Heathrow Bus Terminal to your terminal.
Here is my schedule to get me from Milton Keynes to London Heathrow for a night flight to Mexico.

2. Aylesbury to High Wycombe
Arriva run the #300 service from Aylesbury Bus Terminal to High Wycombe Bus Terminal. Departure: 14:40 Arrive: 15:45
3. High Wycombe to London Heathrow, Central Bus Station
Carousel Buses run the Chiltern Hundreds 102 from High Wycombe to the London Heathrow, Central Bus Station. The bus was late. Departure: 16:45 instead of 16:20. Arrive: 18:00 instead of 17:45
Well, I left my base at 11.50. Lots of waiting for connecting buses so was quite a long trip so I was glad Aeromexico depart from Terminal 3, so only needed to walk and didn't need to ride the Tube (for free) to the other terminals.
