I have already written about How to get to Mexico City Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 using public transport and this post deals with the logistics of how to get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 (and vice versa) at the Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez, otherwise known as Mexico City Airport, airport code AICM, as opposed to the new Felipe Angeles International Airport which is 35 kilometres or 22 miles away in Zumpango which has the code AIFA.

If you are arriving in Mexico at the Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juarez, AICM on an international flight and have a domestic transfer, you will have to go through immigration, collect your bags and check-in for the next flight. Maybe at the same terminal, maybe not.

The fare is 25 pesos. Cash only. There are many ATMs located in the Arrivals Hall, with Citibanamex, BBVA, HSBC, Banorte represented.
