Tripping in Zipolite
I came to Playa Zipolite to forget about life for a bit. It turned out to be the perfect place.

Perfect weather:
Beach walks: morning, late afternoon and pre-bedtime
When I wasn't lounging in the hammock or walking the 'playa', I worked on topping up my all-over tan:
I sampled the beers:
I sourced some 'suitably laced chocolate brownies' and went on some trips I have never taken before as a backpacker. The ultimate low budget trip. I didn't even have to leave my guesthouse.

The light at both dawn and dusk was pretty spectacular. If I could get up in time, which mostly I could, I'd get a brew on and watch the sunrise at 7 am with Roy - fully paid-up member of 'El Club de Toby', with reference to the cartoon La pequeña Lulú or Little Lulu. Translating that to Zipolite would be the Canadian Old Boys Club, with reference to more than a few Canadians who come here to see out the northern winter.
Sunset was at just gone 6 pm. So at 5 ish, Roy would be there with his coffee and I'd be there with my beer and we'd see out another day:
