How to take the Komani Lake Ferry (Albania)

Having completed the Theth to Valbona hike, getting back to Shkodra involved taking the Komani Lake Ferry from Fierze to Koman.

Theth to Valbona, the most spectacular hike in Albania and then top it off by taking the ferry on Lake Komani, which is probably the most scenic ferry ride in Europe outside of Norway:

Lake Koman is a reservoir on the Drin River constructed between 1979 to 1988 and stretches 21 miles from Fierze to Koman.

Sit back and enjoy the ride. Pick up some snacks at the café in Fierze.
