Nomadic Backpacker T-Shirts Printed by Kora Produccion

Posted: July 11, 2022

Spreading the word with Nomadic Backpacker T-Shirts from Kora Producción.

People will become familiar with the name Nomadic Backpacker. People will become familiar with the black-on-white logo.

In this post I want to touch on the subject of T-shirts and the logos and banners displayed on them.

You see travellers wearing The North Face T-shirts, you see football fans in their teams' strip, promoting DHL or CORONA or VODAFONE.

People pay good money for these BUT, in buying these T-shirts, we are giving the companies even more exposure. Hell, they should be giving them away for free. It's not like they need any more exposure.

No more giving ADIDAS any more free exposure, it's not like they need it eh!

Giving Levis and Brahva free exposure in Guatemala. This has got to stop:

So it's time to stop giving these big companies any more exposure or promotion, unless they pay me.

I have this idea and I hope that companies will see the light.

"I will wear a T-shirt with your company logo or banner on it. It will cost you only a tenner a month and the cost of the postage to ship it to me.

I will wear it when I am in Mexico, I will wear it when I am in South Africa, I will wear it when I am in Argentina. I will be walking around all day wearing your T-shirt with your logo on it, passing hundreds of people, taking selfies and putting those photos on Facebook, Instagram and my blog
."

So until that day comes, I will be wearing my Nomadic Backpacker T-shirts, more and more, when I am out and about. I will be taking selfies and putting those photos on line. I will be giving myself exposure.

There will be an increase in photos across this blog of me promoting myself.

Last year when I was in Oaxaca, Miss CDMX sent me a box of goodies, including my first Nomadic Backpacker T-shirt:

When I was in San Cristobal I had Nomadic Backpacker T-shirt design #2 made, with just a small logo but it was just was too small and too high.

Nomadic Backpacker T-shirt design #2 Zipolite, Mexico:

And then, a stroke of luck with a friend from the sister of Miss CDMX, Laura, who runs her business, Kora Producción.

And with that came Nomadic Backpacker T-Shirt design #3, one on a ClimaCool fabric:

Design #3 is a slight tweak to design #1. The second is a cotton mix fabric:

It's a great T-Shirt but the logo is just a bit too big. You need arms like a freaking orangutan to capture anything for a selfie. Setting up the tripod is not always possible.

And finally, Nomadic Backpacker T-Shirt design #4

The same ClimaCool fabric with a much smaller logo, again with art work by Miss CDMX and printing by KoraProducción.

The latest design is for those selfies:

I need 1 to wear walking around, 1 to wear for selfies. Life got so complicated.

I need to stop promoting beer companies!
