Hostel Review: My stay at the Stone City Hostel Gjirokaster

Here is my review of the Stone City Hostel in Gjirokaster, Albania based on my stay in August 2020.
The Stone City Hostel in Gjirokaster is owned and run by a Dutch American couple. It was the perfect place to base myself and backpack the UNESCO Town of Gjirokaster.
They did the extensive renovations themselves and have been operating as a hostel for 4 years now. They have an awesome 10 bed dorm, a 6 bed dorm and a deluxe double room. Am sure you can guess which room I took.
The beds were designed by the owners and had the beds custom made! Great mattresses, good quality bedding and lockers - bring a padlock. The summers are super hot so there is Air Con to give some relief but even if it was 36 in the day, I didn't need to use it at night. Just for an hour in the afternoon when taking a siesta.

Breakfast is included in the price! And what was great is that they set up the coffee machine the night before so for my 'crack of dawn' coffee all I needed to do was turn it on and wait 5 minutes before enjoying my caffeine fix is the very cool mornings!
Fully equipped kitchen, water filter, nice dining room, living room set up, immaculate bathrooms, washer and drier if needed, 3€ each and outside seating area!
