Travel Hack #1: Anti-Skimming Card Holder

Posted: March 25, 2022 | Tagged: Travel Hacks, Travel Essentials

Protect your bank cards from being skimmed with The Anti-Skimming Card Holder from MetroBankUK, wherever you are in the world.

This is the first in a new series of Travel Hacks based on my experience as a veteran low-budget backpacker in a modern world.

The Anti-Skimming Card Holder:

I got my Anti Skimming Card Holder at MetroBank when I opened up an account there. These are a great idea.

They basically provide a protective barrier for you bank cards. In the days where most people have gone contactless, they stop someone scanning your card when it is supposedly out of reach, in a wallet, deep within your pocket or in a money belt. And they stop your card being skimmed, where the card is read and details taken.

A necessary item to combat card fraud as you backpack the world, heading to the Inbursa bank which has the Lowest ATM Fees in Mexico or even when you are walking the streets in your home town.

They are being sold on Ebay. Hell, just go into MetroBankUK and get them for free!
