How to get an Ivory Coast visa in Mali

Here is how I got my visa for the Ivory Coast in Bamako, Mali in 2020:

Ivory Coast Visa Requirements in Bamako, Mali:

  • 2 passport photos
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy AND original of Yellow Fever certificate
  • Hotel reservation - I made a 1-night reservation in Grand Bassam on booking dot com - best get a print out before you go
  • 60,000XOF for 30 days single entry visa date specific.
  • I was there just after 11 am on Tuesday and pick up date was after 3 pm on Thursday.
  • Go suitably dressed. No shorts, no flip flops!

The Ambassade de la République de Côte d'Ivoire is located next to the Radisson Blu Hotel. Entrance to the embassy is by the Sabah Residence. The embassy is behind the trees on the left side in the photo below.

Bamako was hitting 39 degrees Celsius. I walked to the embassy and back through the dust and pollution. I made a stop at the Resto Bafing for a cold beer.
