Arriving in Iceland:

If you Google “How to get from Keflavik Airport to the BSÍ Bus Terminal in downtown Reykjavík”, the chances are high that the first 10 options will be for the “Flybus airport transfer”, which is a shuttle that operates between Keflavík Airport and the BSÍ Bus Terminal in downtown Reykjavík.
The journey with Flybus takes about 45 minutes and departure times are coordinated with the flight arrivals, departing 35 to 45 minutes after every arrival.
The ticket will cost you 3.899 ISK for a single and 7.199 ISK for a return.
The advantage is that they service the early morning departures. I do need to take one as my flight out of Reykjavik is at 07:30 but for an arrival at 3 pm, there is simply no need to take this very expensive option. Iceland is expensive enough, saving every penny where you can, is the main objective here.
