I rent a room by the month for the first time - Zipolite | Mexico

Before, I've never needed nor wanted, to rent a room by the month. But here in Zipolite I have done just that.
There no longer seems any hurry. Some borders are slowly opening but equally, things are getting tougher in other parts of the world. Places to go are still very limited.
The concept of holding up for a while to ride out the storm needed to be addressed. Plus I needed a place to forget about the dramas of the last few months.
Location is everything.
Mexico City is definitely not a place where I would want to spend a month. Oaxaca is. I might go back there for a month at some point. But for now, I am in Zipolite. And Zipolite has location, location, location.
Zipolite is a small coastal town with a laid back vibe. A hippie, backpacker, type of place with a beach where 'clothing is optional'.
I had booked 2 nights online and had chatted to the owner that I was interested in staying a while.
It is coming into the festive season. Prices rise, rooms get booked. I did my 2 nights which I had booked and then confirmed that I would stay for 1 month.
The room is pretty basic, nothing I am not used to. But I don't have to share. Yup, dorms ain't so fun any more.
I have 2 windows, which are screened, which creates a bit of airflow, a ceiling fan, 2 tables and 2 chairs. The bed is good for 2.
Online price for mid-December for 1 night was 300MXN/15US$. Am sure the price will go up next week. I've got a month, through Christmas and New Year, at 200MXN/10US$ a night.
I had found a place down the road with kitchen facilities (which, knowing me, I'd only use to make coffee), shaded garden (means more mosquitoes) and a dorm room for 100MXN a night (too much chance to get Covid).
But here, basic facilities aside, I have fast Wifi, a room just for me and a view from the hammocks which is to die for.

Sunrise in Zipolite:
To save money on coffee, I acquired a water heater and a mug. 1 Coffee with sugar will be down to around 3MXN a cup and not the typical 19MXN in CDMX. Here is much higher. Of course, it is also about convenience. I like my coffee early and when the cafes/stores aren't open until 8, you must adapt to the situation. It's about making my set up as comfortable as possible.
And to enhance that even further, I am using my well travelled mosquito net and have my cord strung up to keep my clothes off of the floor and maintain some sort of order:
