The SnugPak Softie 3 Sleeping bag is one of my 4 essential, take-everywhere items on my travel packing list.

It doesn't matter if I am going to the tropics or colder climes.

I use the Softie 3 Sleeping Bag in the tropics when the early mornings are too fresh to be sleeping naked and I use the Softie 3 Sleeping Bag when travelling in cooler countries as I prefer to use my Bag and then use any blankets supplied by the hostel as an optional extra.

Specification of the SnugPak Softie 3 Sleeping Bag

. Weight: 900g
. Outer Fabric: Paratex Steelplate, 100% Nylon
. Inner Fabric: Paratex Light, 100% Nylon
. Insulation: Softie® Premier, 100% Polyester
. Origin: Made in the UK

Check out the full spec on the SnugPak website.

The store where I bought my Snugpak Softie 3 and Kestral 6 sleeping bags no longer exists but you can still get them from MilitaryKit, which is where I bought my much used British Army Bush Hat.
