So after you’ve bared your soul and a whole lot more on Mexico’s only official nudist beach, and feasted on all the wonderful food on offer at some of the best restaurants in Zipolite, save some cash by taking local transport to the airport for your flight back to Mexico City.
Pickups and colectivos come past Zipolite on the way to Pochutla. The place to catch them is at the junction outside Piña Palmera gift shop. You just take whichever one comes past first.
We are just back from our annual 2-week sojourn. From Zipolite to Pochutla, we rode a colectivo taxi. The fare as of December 2024 is 40 pesos, and the ride took 35 minutes (just make sure it’s a colectivo and not a private hire):
