How to get from Hopkins to Orange Walk by bus

Post detailing my experience of how I travelled from Hopkins to Orange Walk via Belize City by bus in October 2022.
From Hopkins I took the 7 am chicken bus to Dangriga, 1 hour, 5 B$ (The bus schedule is not very comprehensive. The first bus is at 7 am. The next bus is 11:30 am. The bus service is run by the taxi mafia. Getting to and from the highway (Hopkins Junction) will set you back 20 or 30 B$, depending on how lucky you are).
A little bit of beach time on the coast looking out over the Caribbean Ocean. As I sit here in Mexico City and write this post, I think how lucky I was with my timing as Hurricane Lisa ripped through Belize just yesterday.
Beach life is nice and all but I can't see the appeal when hurricanes are guaranteed here.

From Dangriga, there are a few buses to Belmopan and Belize City to choose from.
As a long day of travel (260km) was on the cards, I opted for the Express.
There should have been an Express bus to Belize City running at 8 am but it was delayed so I took the Express run by James Bus Line at 08:30 am, 13 B$.
Reasonably comfortable with AC.

So that was Belmopan, the capital of Belize. Another country whose capital I did not visit. All I saw was the bus station and the outskirts through the grimy window.

Arrived in Belize City at 11:15 am and a quick change, straight onto the bus to Orange Walk. 7.50B$
Just under 2 hours and a short walk to Casa Ricky's.
