Happy to be featuring the Top 3 Favourite Countries of Carina and Philipps, travel bloggers over on bucketlist2life.
Hi, we are Carina and Philipp, a 30-something-year-old couple from Germany. We are a travel writer and a web developer, who were about to travel the world in 2020. Instead, we dreamt about travel - a lot. We decided that we want to be ready to travel so we started to curate our travel bucket list. We want to take you on the journey from idea to travel plan or in other words from bucket list to life.
On our travel blog, you can find tips for travel planning as well as tested (often fast-paced) itineraries - and of course, you’ll get to know us!

1. Mexico
We have revisited Mexico on our half-year backpacking trip through Central America in 2022 and must say it just solidified its pole position in our favourite country list. From bustling cities to cute colonial villages, from deserts to jungles, from beaches to mountains you can find everything here. Additionally, the all-inclusive resorts are great and we don’t mind interrupting a backpacking trip in a nice resort every once in a while.
Mexican food is not on UNESCO's list of Cultural Heritage of Humanity in vain. We love avocados as much as our fellow millennials and there is no shortage of them in Mexico. We recommend you to go to Oaxaca City and stuff your faces.

2. Albania
Albania was part of our first long backpacking trip in 2021. It was our first trip after our world travels were postponed indefinitely after we started our blog and the first trip where we tried the digital nomad lifestyle.
We could tick several countries off our bucket list on this trip but Albania was our favourite. It’s one of the few countries in Southern Europe where wild camping is legal. The freedom you get from wild camping is unbelievable - we could just stay at places we like and leave places we don’t. Stopping in random little towns for coffee led to some of our favourite travel memories ever, the locals are incredibly hospitable. Additionally, the Albanian beer is incredibly cheap and delicious (of course only after the driving was done).

3. Egypt
Egypt is the country which sparked my love for travel so of course, it belongs on this list. It was my (Carina) first long trip and also my first solo trip so it will always have a special place in my heart. It’s definitely the trip that has changed me the most. I have come back several times to explore different parts.
From the pyramids of Giza over a cruise on the Nile to the Red Sea beaches, this country is incredibly diverse. Don’t miss Dahab with its hippie vibe when you’re in Egypt! The Red Sea is also my favourite scuba diving destination. And it helps that the weather conditions are perfect to escape the German winter. Additionally, and this is important to me, the food is incredible - I could eat Kushari and Kunafa daily.

This Top 3 Favourite Countries series features 30 other travellers and blogger, such as Jonny Blair of Don't Stop Living, Steve Rohan of The Trip Goes On, Ric Gazarian from Global Gaz, my buddy Neil, David and Phil.
Be sure to check them out.
So if you are a traveller, blogger or both and have a story to tell and would like to be featured on this series, just contact me.
Requirements are pretty straight forward. An intro with selfie photo and a shortish but detailed account of why your chosen 3 countries stand out and 1 or 2 photos per country preferably in landscape mode.
I don't have deadlines, word count restrictions, just make it interesting. The more wacky the better.
