Visiting the Museo Nacional De Los Ferrocarriles Mexicanos - Puebla | Mexico
November 5 2021
Visiting the railroad museum (Museo Nacional De Los Ferrocarriles Mexicanos) in Puebla as part of a backpacking day-trip from CDMX, where we explored the City of Puebla.
Having visited the Museo de los Ferrocarrileros in Mexico City, I was keen to visit the one in Puebla. The museum is located on the original site of the station along the Mexican Railroad which ran from Mexico City to Veracruz, the first railroad in Mexico and on the Southern Mexican Railroad which ran from Puebla to Oaxaca.
The station in the City of Puebla was opened in 1869 by President Benito Juárez.
The Museo Nacional De Los Ferrocarriles Mexicanos in Puebla was opened on May 5 1988.
